The Purpose Of The Fire

 Fire is a very useful element, it is also a dangerous element when it is not handled properly, when it is managed irresponsibly it can cause a lot of harm.

We use it to cook our food, warm our homes, burn away waste and refuse in incinerators, it's used for industrial productions, and fire is useful in the forging of precious metals.

The challenges we face, the difficulties we pass through , the pressures we experience, the resistance we endure can be likened to fire.

This type of fire has a purpose, it is not meant to mess us up, destroy us, consume us negatively or waste us.

The purpose of the fire of life is to mold us, purify us, and transform us.

They help us grow, develop, have life's experience and a story to tell.

The fire of life forges us, teaches us in a practical sense, gives us perspective and shows us what and who is true.

After surviving the fire, we become wiser.

After passing through the fire, we become more discerning.

When we are passing through the 'fire' there are those who will not understand what is happening to us, some will find our experience unbearable, some will find our challenges strange and mysterious: and others might show empathy or sympathy.
Some will depart from our lives because of the fire, some will stay at arms length to watch what will happen to us, some will gossip and backbite, while some others, usually fewer in number will stand by us.

Our 'fire' seasons reveal the hearts of men, they shows us those who are for us or against us.
We know our fair weather friends and true friends during such times.
But thanks be to God who equips us and never leaves us, we are born for this!

Don't mistake the pressure for punishment.
You may feel broken as a result of all you've had to go through.
You may feel lonely, ashamed and alone because of the 'fires' of life.
The truth is that you were never alone, you were never forsaken and that's why you have not been consumed!

You may have been broken but you will be and can be mended.
Before Jesus multiplied the bread, He broke it.
So, have the right mindset.
You've been broken because you are about to multiply.
You are about to increase and have influence!

Steel is forged in the fire.
You are being forged into a better human being, the fire was not for nothing.
Coal becomes a diamond only under pressure.
The fire has increased your value, in spiritual and physical realms.
You strength is increasing, it's being seen as a result of the fire.
The fire has helped you develop mental toughness, you are no wimp, you're no pipsqueak.
You have learnt how to survive what took others out.
You have learnt how to manage tough situations and emerge stronger after difficulties.

Fire has a way of qualifying us for the next and new chapter chapter of our story.
Men of faith are shaped through the fire.
Start thanking God for the fire, it revealed you to be among the chosen few.

Thank God for the fire you can now sympathize with those going through their own difficulties and troubles.

Thank God for the fire, you have become more empathetic for going through it.

Thank God for the fire, you now have a well of experience and knowledge of life gained which you can use to direct, guide and lead others as they face their own fires.

The fire has made you more compassionate.

The fire made you fit for purpose!

The chosen go through fire, it is part of our process.
We are supernatural survivors!
We survive that which many cannot, because many are called, few are chosen!
