Build An Altar

What would a priest be without an altar?

Priests serve at the altar, that's their station; their place of assignment.

In the old testament section of the scriptures, the patriarchs erected altars whenever they journeyed to new towns or locations, they erected altars in gratitude after getting answers to prayer or after enjoying God's blessings and benevolence.

The good Book has a lot to say about altars.

Altars are mentioned over 400 times in the scriptures.

Anything mentioned more than once in the scriptures is worth noting for "once has God spoken, twice have we heard that all power belongs to God"

A Pharaoh once had two different dreams with the same meaning in one night which troubled him, the story can be found in the Genesis account.

Anxious for an answer, he summoned his magicians and wise men who eat at his table to give him the interpretation of his dream. None of them knew the interpretation of the dream, neither could they give him a satisfactory answer.

It was then the Pharaoh's cupbearer remembered Joseph for Joseph had interpreted a dream for him which also involved his colleague the Pharoah's previous baker when they were in prison.

According to Joseph's interpretation of that dream, the cupbearer of Pharaoh would be restored to his position and job at the Pharoah's side; while the Pharoah's baker would not make it, he was to be hanged.

It happened exactly as Joseph had predicted by interpretation.

It is worth noting that when Joseph stood before the Pharaoh he told the Pharaoh the dreams he had in the same night have the same meaning, the Pharaoh had two dreams as a witness that God will surely do what the Pharaoh had dreamed about. He then interpreted the dream and proffered a solution.

Two is the number of witness, it is a confirmation, it is evidence a thing will happen or a matter should be taken seriously.

Altars are mentioned not twice but over four hundred times in the Bible.

Over four hundred times! That is the number two multiplied by two hundred, and more.

That is the number of witness to the power of over two hundred.

It proves the topic of altars is one which we should take mega serious and understand.

Joseph was greatly blessed, the favor of God was upon his life. His ancestry points to altars.

He was from a lineage of altar erecting Patriarchs, men who had a relationship with God.

Altars serve a purpose, a divine purpose, they act as a meeting point between the divine and men.

There are both good and evil altars.

Evil altars are meeting points of worship and reverence between men and evil spirits.

In the presence of evil altars and through such altars, all sorts of manipulation has gone on- destinies have been tampered with, evil released upon lives, names and individuals cursed, human spirits summoned, astral projection carried out and evil decrees made.

The will of God is that such altars are pulled down and destroyed and God's judgement decreed upon  such altars and locations.

Evil altars are the fake of the original.

In the presence of God we see from the book of Revelation that there is an altar in God's presence, a golden altar.

The concept of altars is from God. men learned to build altars due to God's inspiration and instruction.

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob were altar building men who had a relationship with God.

Temples had altars and tabernacles of worship too.

The ark of the testimony was a scared chest that functioned as an altar.

Altars will always be relevant as long as God has an altar.

What an altar is and how they are operated in the new testament, is significantly different to how altars were presented in the old testament section of scriptures.

Prayers are made before altars, answers to prayers have been received before altars, divine encounters have been had at altars. people have received life and also received judgement before altars, as well as people being blessed or cursed before altars.

At the place of the altar, sacrifices have been rejected and accepted.

At the place of the altar destinies have blossomed and lives have found a new meaning.

You can build an altar in your home!

Your own place of meeting with God, the Lord will accept it, more so if you have a relationship with God through Jesus the Christ.

That relationship qualifies us to build altars because we are priests unto God through the Lord Jesus Christ, but very importantly we are living altars.

Our hearts are altars unto God.

The cross of Jesus Christ is an altar.

We can always approach it in the place of faith for deliverance, repentance, freedom, grace and cleansing.

We are priests unto God through the Lord Jesus Christ!

We can built altars of resilience, sacrifice, faith, dedication and prayer to God.

"we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people who have been called to show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light!"

May God have respect unto your altar.

Trained In The Light

These is no doubt that being trained is an important part of life.

We learn by training, learning is training as training is the practice of what we have learned.

Whether that is learning how to ride a bicycle, drive a car, sail a ship, fly a plane or flying a helicopter

We train or get trained to be the best we can be at a thing.

Training sharpens  our skill, develops our ability, and makes our potentials emerge.

We train for battles and wars, we train train to use tools and weapons, we train for effectiveness.

We train our bodies to get the best out of it, either for personal fitness or to excel in a physical sport.

We train our minds to develop our mental powers, sharpen our mental skill and discover our inner abilities.

We get trained on the job, we train for positions and to function at our best in our chosen career path.

We prepare for promotions through training, we prepare for the future by being trained, and we're  also trained to learn new skills and earn better.

As we train to be effective in this physical world of ours we receive training in the spiritual dimension too.

The spiritual dimension is made up of the realm of darkness and the realm of light.

Spiritual people can be good or evil.

There are evil people who are highly spiritual, they have been trained in darkness.

We also have good people who are highly spiritual, they are trained in light.

The degree to which you have been trained in either realms determines your effectiveness and impact from that dimension.

Your spiritual training determines how and how well, you navigate the spiritual dimension.

The spiritual controls the physical.

The masters of life are those who have spiritual mastery.

They are those who have been trained spiritually.

Either in the realm of darkness or the realm of light they navigate the spiritual dimension masterfully.

Light is superior to darkness, it is better to be trained in light.

There are dimensions in the light, even as we have different types of light.

There are different types of glories.

The brighter the light, the greater the glory!

There is a glory that is of the sun, another of the moon, and another of the other types of stars.

They all differ in glory and brightness.

God associates with light.

He is "the God of the heavenly lights."

He is robed in light.

Light emanates from Him.

We should be trained in light.

We are trained in light by the Spirit of God.

We are trained in light the word of God.

We are trained in light being of the light which starts with a translation.

A translation into the kingdom of God!

God is the Light.

To be trained in the Light is to grow in salvation, redemption, justification and glorification.

To be trained in the Light is to grow in godly wisdom, understanding and knowledge.

When we train in the light we are learning godliness, humility, temperance, resilience and gratitude against all odds.

When we train in the Light our character is being formed and our spirit man is being strengthened.

To train in the Light is to grow in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

When we train in the Light, the word takes root in our hearts, does a work in our hearts, eradicates darkness within us; and makes the day dawn within us as the day star rises in our hearts.

When we train in the Light our consciousness and identity changes for the better and we begin to reclaim our creative authority.

When we trained in the Light we wage a good warfare, a mature warfare, and we see who our enemy and enemies really are.

When we are trained in the Light, the force is with us, even the force of the Spirit!

When we are trained in the Light, we operate with a new awareness, a divine readiness, and blessed assurance.

To be trained in the Light is to grow in the likeness and image of Jesus Christ for He is the Light.

To be trained in the Light is to be exposed to the riches of grace!

To be trained in Light is to be dignified with the newness of salvation.

To be trained in the Light equips us with redemption powers.

To be trained in light is to operate and work  with the authority of righteousness.

To be trained in Light is to be built up with the pillars of holiness.

The highest and greatest form and dimension of light is God's Light, it is the Light of Jesus Christ.

Come to The Light Of Jesus Christ!

Redemption

 Redemption is a beautiful word.

To understand what it means to be redeemed is to appreciate the word redemption.

The beauty of redemption is in the dignity, value, and favor it places on the redeemed by the redeemer.

Redemption gives the redeemed 'cards' to play and operate with, spiritual cards that is.

Redemption is an act of kindness from the redeemer to the redeemed.

In the book of Ruth in the Bible we see a beautiful work of redemption at play.

Boaz redeemed Ruth a widow, by purchasing the right to be her husband, providing for her and her mother in-law and changing her fortunes.

We also see Jesus Christ redeeming the woman caught in the act of adultery, he redeemed her from shame and death by giving her the freedom and opportunity to start afresh with an "empowerment to go and sin no more."

We also see the greatest work and act of redemption carried out by Jesus Christ for humanity.

Through His blood, the sacrifice of His life, the offer of redemption has been extended to humanity.

Redemption grants us a new beginning and a new reality.

Humanity was in need of redeeming, Jesus came as our kinsman redeemer to redeem us from sin and its effects on humanity that we may be reconciled to God.

Redemption is a great extension of God's loving kindness to us at the expense of Jesus Christ.

The redeemer is the one who pays the price of redemption.

To redeem is to buy back.

Redeeming costs a lot, it is not cheap to redeem.

If you are going to redeem another, you will have to pay a price for that persons buyback which is higher than the real cost of the individual.

When the blood of Jesus was shed, the highest price for our redemption was paid.

"The life of a thing is in its blood"

When Jesus was whipped, pierced with a spear, and crucified on the cross after being injured from the crown of thorns his blood flowed.

It was holy blood, righteous blood, not the blood of a mere man.

It was his life flowing out of Him for our redemption.

There is no greater price or act of love shown towards humanity.

It was the price of our redemption that we may be clean, free, and in relationship with God our creator.

Now, we can claim rights, access blessings, navigate the spiritual realm and lay hold on precious promises. All because of our redemption in Christ Jesus!

Blood is a legal tender in the spiritual realm, it is valuable like gold is valuable in the physical realm.

Spirits value blood because they don't have blood.

The best blood has been shed for you and I.

We are now redeemed and have rights.

That holy blood, with holy life, from a divine being- God in human flesh redeems us when accepted and appropriated by faith.

We can confess and profess the word because we have been redeemed.

We can make decrees and they will stand!

"Let the redeemed of the Lord say so."
