The Game Of The Eagle

The eagles is a bird associated with many remarkable qualities- vision, speed, courage, strength, boldness, fighting ability, success, flying at high altitudes, ferociousness, skill, risk taking, and its parental and protective instincts.

There's another remarkable quality the eagle has that is not often spoken about.

It is not acknowledged like the rest but it is a remarkable quality nonetheless.

Eagles are patient creatures!

They know when to be patient.

The patience of the eagle is one of its fine qualities.

Most birds take to the air in the mornings before the eagle does.

Other birds are quick and free to take off in the morning but the eagle waits intelligently.

It waits for signals, it looks up from its high altitude, it looks to the sky from its mountain top.

The eagle waits for the right air current, the signal of the sun, and the best time of the day before stretching out its wings and taking flight!

The eagle teaches us a lesson, the lesson that waiting time is never wasted time.

The eagles shows us that being patient is never a waste of time but an investment if that period is spent wisely by observing the right things and doing the right things.

No bird can risk the game of the eagle.

No bird flies at the altitude the eagle flies.

No bird dares the kind of things the eagle dares.

The eagle teaches us the lesson that its not about who was first to take off, who ran ahead, or who was the first to take steps.

The eagles shows us that we don't necessarily have to do things at the time others are doing it.

The eagle lets us know timing is key.

The eagles gives us a good example of not operating at other peoples time.

The eagle doesn't operate with other birds timing.

The eagle shows us the wisdom of not doing things just because others are doing it.

From the eagle we glean the lesson of not doing a thing just because we are able to do it.

The eagle doesn't just fly because it is capable of flying, the eagles flies at the right time daily and is patient till that time is right.

The eagle doesn't see itself in competition with other birds.

The eagle glides when other birds flap their wings.

Other birds try harder than the eagle but they don't fly as high.

The eagle is intelligent and patient enough to to take flight at a time air currents will help it rise to heights other birds don't.

The eagle seems to understand its own wing span and knows how and when to make the best use of it.

The air currents make the flight of the eagle less stressful and saves the eagle energy and strength.

Patience can be a mark of intelligence.

In the eagle it is.

We live in a world system that doesn't often give credit to patient people.

If you're being patient some interpret is as being slow.

Some assume the patient are weak and unsure.

That is not always the case.

We live in a world system that praises the fast, the sharp, the action man or woman.

Yet a lot of people are full of regret, remorse, unhappiness and bitterness because they ran ahead of their time.

They were not patient.

The patience of the eagle is not to be mistaken for inactivity and being slow.

The eagle is a calculative and intelligent bird, filled with all sorts of exceptional abilities.

The eagle is just smart enough to know when to act, its intelligent enough to be patient for the best result.

The eagles patience is not due to a fear of flying, for the eagle is the king of the sky among birds, a true master of the air.

The eagle is a risk taker, a calculative and patient one.

No wonder the eagle is a skillful hunter!

There's a lot we can learn from the eagle.

The time comes, when we have to leave the nest of our comfort to risk the game of the eagle!

Until then, let's be patiently focused like the eagle is.

Where Is The Star Of Bethlehem Today?

Wise men from the East were lead to where Jesus the Christ was born according to Biblical accounts and history.
They were lead by a Star, a Star now commonly called the Star of Bethlehem.
This Star was no ordinary Star, it was a celestial phenomenon that shore by day and shore by night!
It is a moving Star, its brightness and movement was communicating to the Magi on earth, it lead them to where the Messiah is.
Its brightness and movement was a language, a heavenly communication.
It shows this Star was not like the others, it was a living Star!

Astronomical wonders like the Star of Bethlehem amaze us, as they are usually once in a generation or once in a lifetime occurrences.

It begs the question- where is that Star today, where is the Star of Bethlehem and why don't we see it in the heavens or sky like the wise men from the East did when Jesus was on earth?

Humanity still spots comets, planets, shooting stars, supernovas and observe celestial wonders today. We note changes in the heavens, we observe the lights and marvel at unusual sights when they come up, thanks to astronomical tools and technological advancement.

The heavens have always interested humanity right from ancient times.

The Biblical account of the Magi and the Star of Bethlehem is proof of this.

The Star of Bethlehem is actually the Star of Jesus! It is the Messiah's Star! It is the Star of Jesus Christ!

As that Star was an astronomical spectacle and celestial wonder we see that till date Jesus Christ is a wonder, a marvel, a spectacle from generation to generation and He will remain that and more throughout eternity!

The Star of Jesus was announcing His destiny, and the Magi from the East were wise enough to read His Star which they were spellbound by.

They were wise enough to look up and understand what the Star of Jesus was communicating.

No wonder they knew the gifts to present young Jesus.

From His star, they gathered He is a King, a Priest, and a suffering Servant.

That's why they presented Him gifts revealing the prophetic dimensions of His destiny.

It was all part of divine plan.

The wise men presented Him with gold, frankincense and myrrh.

The gold represents the kingship and leadership of Jesus Christ.

The frankincense represents the priesthood and ministry of Jesus Christ.

While the myrrh represents the servanthood and suffering of Jesus Christ.

They were symbolic and meaningful gifts.

So where is this living, communicating, moving and shining celestial wonder today?

Why don't we see it when we look into the heavens with our naked eyes, our binoculars, our telescopes and smart phone apps?

Why don't astronomists and astrologists see it today as they study the heavenlies and study constellations?

Was the purpose of the Star of Bethlehem just for the period of leading to Magi (wise men) to where Jesus was?

Is it hidden away?

Has its changed location?

Did God the Father summon it and hide it away since He summons stars and calls them by name?

Why hasn't it been spotted in the skies in over a 2000 year period since Jesus came?

The Star of Jesus Christ, known as the Star of Bethlehem has changed location from the visible eye.

While we do not see it with the visible eye it can be seen with spiritual eyes.

It can be seen with the eye of faith!

Much like the person the Star is all about, Jesus the Christ. We don't see him with our naked eyes in most cases but He is living, real and around.

His Star is the same, it is with Him, they are one, they are aligned.

Jesus is alive, He exists and He is within the believer today.

The Star of Bethlehem is real, alive and within the believer.

That Star is the morning Star, also called the Day Star that rises in the heart of the believer.

The Star of Jesus Christ is in the heart of the born again Christian.

It is one of the chief treasures within us.

It is one of the many treasures in earthen vessels within the believer.

"And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed,
to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp
shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the
morning star rises in your hearts"

As your star in heaven is, so will your life on earth be if you are aligned with your star.
It is important to be aligned!

Your star is you and you are your star!
Your star announces your destiny.

It is time to shine!

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.
And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
Lift up your eyes all around, and see; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and exult, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you"

Look Up

I was in an ASDA shopping store recently, while picking up a few items I got an inspiration.

In ASDA  just as it is in most superstores, the items for sale are displayed in rows which are on racks, these racks are categorized into different sections by the sign high above each section.

You have to look up to see the sign.

Sometimes we have to look a little higher.

Looking up makes you know the section to go to for the items you need, looking up determines your movement and direction, looking up determines what you buy and getting what you need and want.

If you don't look up, you may not get what you need.

It is possible to meander around the superstore and not find what you want or get what you need though it is available.

You could get discouraged or assume what you hoped to buy isn't available in store just because you couldn't find it, which is due to not looking up!

Look up, so you don't miss the signs.

Much like what could happen to people in superstores, life is like that.

Daily we shop in life.

We all aim to achieve or get what we want out of life, just like we do when we go shopping.

Through our choices and decisions, we are buying in the 'market of life'

We go shopping with a purpose, an aim, with the intention to buy what we want and need; we even write a list most times.

The shopping list shows we are organized.

The shopping list we put together helps us stay focused and disciplined when shopping, so we don't get distracted and spend on items that are not necessary.

In life, staying focused helps us stick to what is necessary, needful and wanted; much like the smart shopper who has a shopping list.

In this life, there are also those who unfortunately are like the shopper who is not organized and purposeful, they take or get out of life only what is available, what they see and what is within their reach instead of going for what they really want or need.

They don't find what they need or want, because they were either not organized or guided, or both!

They think what they need and want is not available, which is not true.

Just like the shopper who doesn't know there is an abundance of the items he or she wants and needs waiting to be picked up in the superstore, simply because they didn't look up to see the sign that lists where they can get what they want, many in this life are like that!

The wise men found the Messiah, the Christ, the Savior because they looked up!

They looked up and saw His Star.

His Star was His sign, showing them where He was.

They wanted to worship Him, see Him, and honor Him and they achieved their aim because they looked up.

In life, we have to look up.

To look up is to be guided by the Lord.

To look up is to be directed by the Lord.

To look up is to be rightly lead in life.

To look up is to be attuned to the Holy Spirit.

Looking up shows you where your needs will be met and your wants will be granted.

Look up, the Lord's sign is showing you where to go, which way to go and where your fulfillment is.

To look up is to follow the Spirit's leading.

To look up is to follow heavens strategy and plan.

Looking up helps you follow your own unique path in life.

Drivers who don't look up from time to time will break driving laws and get into trouble with the law.

Check with the Lord often to see if you are on track and headed in the right direction in life.

Drivers who don't look up will miss the traffic light, their signs.

Drivers who don't look up can head in the wrong direction because they'll miss the road signs which are often above showing them the direction to the part of town they are trying to get to.

Following the signs is important.

Signs are instructions, signs are pointers, they show us where to go and how to get there.

There is a sign you need to look up and see.

Look up, it is there.

Look up and follow the signs.

Look up and follow the Star.

Let's be wise like the wise men who traveled from the East to meet the Savior and look up and see the Star.

Wise men follow the Star!

For the believer, to look up is to look within.

For the believer, to look up is to be lead from the inside out for the Spirit is within us, the kingdom of God is within us and the Word of God should be stored in our hearts which is within us.

Look Up!
