Journey To Freedom

 

On the journey to freedom, as you get closer to the light of freedom shining at the distance, things might get tougher.

The departure of the children of Israel from Egypt in the Biblical account from the book of Exodus is a real story of freedom.

Pharaoh did not want the Israelites free because they were useful to him as slaves.

The enemy and your enemies don't want you free because they feel its to their benefit if you remain as you are, but they are mistaken; you will not be bound because God doesn't just want you free but He paid the price for your freedom.

The journey to freedom may be tough but I'd like to encourage you not to give up.

It is very likely you have almost reached the light at the end of the dark tunnel, that is why it's getting tougher to continue the journey.

You must continue to seek freedom, you can't give up now.

You've come too far from where you started from.

There's no going back, there's no looking back, there's no giving up now.

Pharaoh couldn't stop the children of Israel from being free for God wanted them free.

The enemy and your enemies cannot stop you from being free for God wants you free.

Pharaoh is symbolic of Satan in the book of Exodus account.

Moses is symbolic of Jesus Christ in that true life story.

Moses shows up in Egypt which is Pharaoh's territory to ensure the children of Israel get their freedom.

Jesus Christ showed up from heaven in this earthly plane to ensure we are free from the enemy's grip.

As Moses showed up for the Israelites freedom, Pharaoh increased their workload and punished them the more.

When deliverance is near challenges increase.

The attacks against you may have increased, it's a distraction.

Strange warfare may have risen up from strange quarters against you, it's a tactic to make you give up.

Maintain your focus.

Look ahead.

The future is bright.

Can't you see it?

See your freedom, see your future.

That's where you should be, that's where you will get to.

Keep walking, keep running, keep taking steps.

Keep moving, keep going.

You will get there.

With each day, hour, minute, and second that goes by you are getting closer to your future, your freedom.

May God direct, order, lead, and guide your steps.

You can and must make it!

Kingdom Freedom

 

Freedom is found in God's presence.

Freedom begins to manifest in the life of the individual who makes it a regular habit to go into God's presence.

Freedom is activated by God's Spirit, it happens in God's presence for where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty!

Freedom is part of our birthright and inheritance..

Through God, we are within our rights to seek and seize opportunities. Its part of our freedom.

We are free through the Lord to cultivate and practice the presence of God.

As we practice and cultivate the presence of God we become better positioned by the Spirit of God to see opportunities.

The kingdom of God within the believer is God's presence in the believer.

There is freedom in the kingdom within us.

The Spirit leads, He can lead us into our God given opportunities.

The Spirit opens our eyes, He can open the eyes of our understanding and our spiritual eyes to see the opportunities He has for us in this new year.

The year is still young, see it as another God given opportunity.

It is an opportunity to get it right where we got it wrong last year, it's another eight Months to pursue freedom through the Spirit of God who sets free, we have eight Months ahead of us for this year to receive bigger and better things from the Lord.

It's another chance to correct our wrongs, achieve our targets and start afresh.

I will use this opportunity to wish you and yours a happy, blessed and prosperous rest of the year.

Created To Be Free

 

The U.S President Joe Biden bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom on a group of recipients, including a film star I like very much, Michael J. Fox.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian honor in the U.S, Michael J. Fox was honored with this medal as a "world renowned advocate for Parkinson's disease research"

That medal should remind us that it is an honor to be free.

Freedom brings honor for it is the free man that can contribute and whose contribution will be regarded.

Humanity is created for freedom and that is why anything associated with liberty/freedom is regarded as valuable.

Human beings and animals are happiest when they are free, they look more beautiful, fulfilled and natural when free.

Consider the urge our pet dogs have for a walk and how happy they are in an open space and their excitement when they are unleashed in our gardens or at the park. The joy!

Freedom brings joy, especially if a person or animal has been incarcerated for so long.

Many animals are not meant to be confined, they are better in the wild where they are free, they are created to be free.

How much more you?

You are of more value than any animal, you are created to be free.

You are created to be like God in many respects, that is how you are meant to function.

It's unnatural for human beings to be bound or enslaved irrespective of race, nationality, tribe, language or skin color.

Jesus the Christ likened his followers to sheep because of the ability of sheep to follow shepherds, they listen to the shepherd's voice as the shepherd leads them in the best way and path for them.

We are meant to and designed to follow the Shepherd- Jesus the Christ!

Shepherds lead the sheep to the place of freedom and safety.

Isn't that what you really want, to be safe and free?

Sin incarcerates.

The illustration of Jesus likening his followers to sheep and He being their Shepherd depicts freedom and safety for the sheep (his followers).

The shepherd leads the sheep to where the sheep will find pasture, they are free to go out and come in.

The U.S is a country associated with freedom, one of her greatest attributes.

Unfortunately not much can be said of her being the safest place to live going by happenings there and information we get from the news and media outlets.

Our freedom and safety is in Jesus Christ and His kingdom.

Free To Create!

 

When you are free your creativity can flourish.

The first attribute of God we see from the scriptures is creativity.

God in whose image and likeness we are originally created is a creative being.

He spoke and creation came into existence!

The many universes, the many heavenly systems, our solar system, the stars, each planet, and their moons were creatively spoken into existence by God.

God is sovereign and free to create.

Creativity could be expressed by the Creator making creation a product of the Creators creativity through the Creators freedom.

Freedom makes it possible for us to express our ideas!

You have to be free.

You are more useful to yourself and the world when you're free.

There are ideas, potential, gifts and strengths within you the world needs and your fellow man will benefit from when you are free.

You can't be limited, caged, resisted and chained and expect the best to come out of you.

The best comes out of us when we are free, and we need to be free to bring the best out of us.

The enemy wants you tied down, Jesus came to destroy His works!

Our Lord saved the day!

He set us free.

Enjoy your freedom.

Go forth and create!

From Warefare To Freedom

 

Warfare often precedes freedom.

While your freedom is to your benefit, it is to the loss of those who want you enslaved.

It's a fact that freedom doesn't come without a fight.

History proves this.

Whether its colonized countries fighting for their independence, countries rich in natural resources protecting their land and resources from invaders, or getting justice in oppressive systems where laws and policies have created imbalanced societies, a fight is required.

Many fight to get out of poverty in societies where level playing fields are absent and the right opportunities seem scarce.

Human greed is often the reason man seeks the enslavement of his fellow man.

We want that which another has been blessed with by the Creator.

Greed stems from selfishness and it has often evolved into wickedness.

Selfishness has its roots in our fallen human nature,.

This creates another battle in itself, an inner kind of battle.

A battle of choices- choosing right or wrong, good or evil.

This internal battle is one everyone has to fight and many lose this battle for humanity doesn't have the power in herself to set herself free from her own nature and the outcome of its course.

We fight to be free from ourselves and from those who choose to be our enemies, we fight to be free from man made labels which are not the truth about us, we fight to be free mentally which means we resist deception.

Deception is an enemy and a big part of our warfare.

Deception enslaves and it's a tactic of our archenemy, our real enemy. It manifests in traditions, cultures, philosophies and belief systems.

Deception can manifest as tangible realities, even in situations and circumstances.

Don't be deceived and don't stay deceived.

We can't win these battles on our own and in ourselves.

The enemy has eaten deep into the fibre of this world and its systems.

There's the Way out, there's Truth, there's a Helper.

"I Want To Break Free"

 

"I want to break free" is a line repeated a number of times from the song with the same title by Queen.

It is a song I've always liked from childhood as I would watch the video of that song back then from our home in Zurich Switzerland at the time.

Queen was a very successful musical group, a pop group from the 80's led by Freddie Mercury. I found the visual of the song different, hilarious, and relatable to what people do because Freddie Mercury was stuck in the routine of household chores.

As I think back I now have a deeper understanding of how that song relates to us, I see how it's wordings can apply to humanity.

"I want to break free" is a statement that reflects one of the deepest hearts cry of humanity- the cry for freedom!

The whole earth is groaning for freedom, she seeks to be liberated.

Humanity desires freedom from her course, from her wrong choices and the failings of the flesh.

"The whole earth is groaning, waiting for the earnest expectation of being liberated"

Climate change in my opinion is part of the cry, the groan of this earth.

The earth is 'crying'

It is obvious things cannot just continue as it has, the world's direction is not sustainable, something has to happen; something has to give way.

The adventurous nature in man has inspired in us a curious inclination and inquisitive mindset, this has led to many amazing and beneficial discoveries, inventions, adventures, and exploits.

Space exploration is one of the amazing achievements of man.

Despite the breakthroughs in that sector and perhaps the several or many to come, we have not been able to successfully find solutions to our closest issues, the challenges down here on earth, even issues with ourselves.

This is because there are mysteries to life, the mysterious side of life which only spirituality provides answers to, not just any form of spirituality but a relationship with God.

A true, living, strong, continuous relationship with God through Jesus Christ is the answer to life's issues and the key to true freedom.

That's how we break free.

This is what Freddie Mercury and his musical band Queen needed to know.

Becoming a son/daughter of God through salvation, and the empowerment of becoming God like qualifies us to be liberators.

The whole of creation is waiting to be liberated by sons of God!

Let the liberators arise!
