Life can have it's uncertainities. There are times in life we may find ourselves not knowing what to do- we may wonder, should be go forward, stand still, retreat or abandon what we are doing. We might wonder during such times whether we should turn to the left, turn to the right, or go backwards or forward or just give up.
There is a need for and a place for divine direction in life. To make the most of life and fulfil our destinies we need to be properly guided. A wise man once said "most of the things we suffer unnecessarily in life can be traced to misguidance". I think he is right.
The human mind understands the value of time. We understand we are creatures of time, it explains the reason we invented wrist watches, clocks, alaram clocks and timers. It's also the reason for the invention of satellite navigating systems and compasses. Direction and time cannot be separated from one another. The essence of direction is to save us from unnecessary stress and waste of time. A mis-directed life will be full of stress and mis-management of time. A life that's not well managed in time will constantly find itself at cross roads and in states of frustration.
If human beings are intelligent enough, to invent devises that provide them with direction, won't the all knowing God who created us have direction to offer us? In His mercy has has provided direction for us, it is found within you in the form of His Spirit within you, for " there is a spirit in man, the inspiration of the almighty giveth them understanding" The spirit within is your internal GPS system where there is direction for you at every cross road. Start listening to the Spirit today, for "as many as are lead by the spirit of God, they are the Sons of God".
