Hell is a place, a presence and a spirit.
As a place it is the location of eternal damnation.
As a presence it is an evil hitman that wants you to lose an eternity with God.
Hell As A Place:
The reality of hell as a place, a location, an environment of eternal suffering is one the Book is clear about.
Hell is a spiritual location and reality.
If it were not so, Jesus would not have mentioned it in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
If hell is a myth, or an imaginary work of fiction Jesus would not have shared it through his angel to John the Apostle who documented the revelations he received as the Book of Revelation.
The description of hell as a burning inferno that evolves into what is called the lake of fire is documented in the Book of Revelation and very much in line with description of hell Jesus shared in His parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
It is truth and it is not to be taken lightly.
It may not be the most exciting message.
Hell teachings are not the most regularly taught messages, some ministers of God's word shy away from it.
Nonetheless it is a very pertinent truth everyone should be aware of.
There is a place, a location in eternity called hell where those who rejected the truth of God's word go to.
Those who reject the salvation Jesus Christ offers cannot escape this place.
The truth of an eternal place of suffering is hard for some people to accept.
It has raised many questions in the hearts of men, questions like-
"why would a loving God throw souls in an eternal fire?"
"why doesn't God just destroy Satan who has been deceiving people to end up in hell?"
"why should God punish souls in hell when the enemy Satan lead to the fall of humanity?"
Some have been so offended by the teachings of hell being real that they took matters into their own hands to do something about what they don't want to believe.
Such actions is what birthed the Jehovah's witness movement.
Such views is what birthed the gospel of inclusion.
It is the reason we have Universalism and Annihilationism which sects like the Seventh-day Adventists, Christadelphians and some Episcopalians and Presbyterians hold unto.
Hell is descriptive enough for us to see how it is presented to us in the Bible.
It is literal.
It's not symbolic.
There is no rest there.
There is torment and torture there, it doesn't stop.
Some argue that the concept of hell as a Christian theology is flawed and that hell or hades means a concealed place or merely means the grave.
Hades or hell is a real place, location and environment where damned souls remain through eternity.
The kingdom of darkness or the location realm of the enemy is called the gates of hell or gates of hades. This is where the evil one operates from.
The gates of hell or hades is not hell fire or the lake of fire, it is the headquarters of Satan.
The words "gates of hell/hades" is used because their mandate and mission is to get people to hell fire.
So their kingdom and network is a "gate" that leads to hell fire.
The salvation and power of Jesus Christ is the escape route from hell as a place which is known as hell fire and the lake of fire.
Hell fire evolves into the lake of fire after the day of judgement.
Hell As A Presence
Hell as a presence is a curse, an enchantment, witchcraft and divination that's with people which turns peoples life on earth into a living hell.
Hell as a presence with people makes their lives and living conditions very difficult.
It is the enemy that releases the presence of hell upon lives and destinies.
This is what the gates of hell do.
Their aim is to make people give up on God.
When people's lives are a living hell it makes it possible for them to doubt God and eventually God's purposes can be aborted.
The purpose of hell as a presence is to turn the lives and destinies of people into a shadow of what the Creator created them to be.
When the presence of hell is with a country, that country suffers economically and all measures to put things right will prove abortive.
Hell As A Spirit
Hell comes to people as spirits.
Hell as a spirit is what angels are to the saints.
Just as angels bring the presence of God/God's kingdom into lives; spirits of hell bring the presence of hell/hades into lives and destinies.
Hell as a spirit are individual spirits from the gates of hell assigned to people(s).
They come as assigned messengers.
They operate as Satanic hitmen to pull people down and advance the agenda of the kingdom of darkness.
There are spirits from the gates of hell, the headquarters of the enemy.
These spirits bring the presence of hell into lives, families, communities and nations.
They are spirits who have the nature, the mentality, and the mission of Satan within them.
These spirits bring the presence of hell into lives.
They are the monitoring spirits, the familiar spirits, the demons and fallen angels.
They are all unclean spirits and do the bidding of the dark side (gates of hell).
They network with human agents- wizards and witches.
They are an advanced network that works in unity and coordination.
Hell the spirit came against Job as we see in the book of Job and his life became hell on earth.
Fortunately he did not fall for the trick of the gates of hell to curse God.
Hell as a spirit creates hell as a presence for people that they may end up in hell the location/place.
The name and authority of Jesus Christ is what we use to overcome them.
The lake of fire (hell) is real and you do not want to end up there.
