A uniqueness of spirits is their ability to take on forms.
Since spirits don't have human bodies like we do they can take on forms.
We see spirits appearing like human men in the scriptures.
We're encouraged to entertain strangers (be nice to them) for some have entertained angels unawares.
Angels are messenger spirits of God, they are from the Lord's kingdom who go about doing His bidding.
They are created to serve God, the Father of all spirits.
Angels also minister to the people of God and minister for them too.
Some angels are given the assignment to be guardian angels who watch out for the interest and well being of specific individuals.
Guardian angels fight for, protect, and encourage the individual they have been assigned to in that person's earthly walk and for the individuals spiritual growth.
They are about God the Fathers business.
They see to it that the prayers of their human is presented before the heavenly Father as incense, sweet smelling incense before the nostrils of God.
Prayers that are granted or accepted rise up from God's golden altar.
So, our guardian angels play very important roles in our lives.
Some people get archangels as guardian angels.
Archangels are chief princes among angels.
They oversee a team of angels under their leadership for unique purposes.
The archangel Michael is one of them.
While the Bible doesn't specifically mention the names of angels apart from angel Gabriel and archangel Michael, other books and writings mention the names of other angels and spirits. The Book of Enoch does.
From the scriptures we gather that archangel Michael is not the only archangel in God's kingdom.
In the tenth chapter of the book of Daniel, the angel who appeared to Daniel and spoke with him talks about how he was delayed or detained by the principality he called the prince of Persia.
Archangel Michael was sent by God to help this angel sent to Daniel.
Michael fought the Prince of Persia so that the angel held hostage was free to get to Daniel.
The angel was sent to bring Daniel's answer to his fasting and prayer.
He got to Daniel and gave him skill and wisdom to interpret the visions he had seen.
What he shared with Daniel gives us an insight into happenings in the spirit realm.
He mentioned Michael is one of the chief princes or archangels, which means there are other ones.
The shape shifting ability of our angels mean they can take on other forms to protect us if necessary or for effectiveness when carrying out their assignments.
The prophet Elisha was mocked by certain young men, forty two of them for being bald headed.
In anger the prophet cursed them and two she-bears came out of nearby forests and destroyed those young men!
I can believe those she-bears were angels who took on the image of bears to carry out an assignment or instruction.
Or perhaps they were truly bears under the influence of Elijah's anointing who carried out a command.
I once watched an interview of a minister who holds the spiritual office of a prophet.
According to him he sees very clearly in the spirit realm and he's had all sorts of spiritual encounters with Jesus Christ, angels, demons, fallen angels and his own guardian angel assigned to him from God.
He informed us his guardian angel is huge and turns into a bear when fighting off evil forces!
In scripture we see Satan who is a fallen angel turn into a dragon.
He is also seen taking on the image of a serpent.
In Genesis six we read of fallen angels taking the form of men to marry wives, they had a nefarious agenda, they lived on earth as charming handsome human beings who seduced and married the women of the earth.
I've been in a vision before where the angel assigned to my life was revealed, I saw him just outside by the entrance of a church building I was in and I saw him turn into a dragon.
Prior to seeing him at the window and door of the church building I had noticed him from the distance.
I saw him shapeshifting before an altar set up to God while I looked on from within the church building.
He was shifting between being a muscular man worshipping the Lord and a powerful angel with wings.
His muscular hands were being raised up towards the heavens in worship.
I was seeing his back view.
Suddenly he changed into a dragon and appeared at the church window and I found myself beside him watching him, he moved to the entrance or door of the church building.
There was a questionable individual in the congregation, an enemy.
He and the dragon/angel locked eyes.
I could see the man was overcome with fear.
The dragon looked angry, fierce and intimidating as it maintained his stare with the man.
The dragon opened his mouth and emitted fire which roasted this enemy on the spot.
Then I came out of the vision.
Over time and through a series of events I was made to know that angel and dragon is the archangel Michael.
We have guardian angels, they have remarkable abilities, they ensure God's plan and will is done in our lives when we cooperate with them.
Hallelujah!
