The Cause For Freedom

 In the movie GLADIATOR directed by Ridley Scott the lead character General Maximus Decimus Meridius played by Russell Crowe wasn't asking for much, all he wanted was a simple life- he wanted to farm, be a father to his son and a loving husband to his dear wife.

He had served his king and nation faithfully leading their troops into many battles and being victorious, loved and well respected.

You would think he had done enough to live the peaceful and simple life he craved but life's complications wouldn't let it be.

Great men are often envied and betrayed.

His story is similar to the character played by Mel Gibson in the move Brave Heart- William Wallace.

Maximus Decimus Meridius and William Wallace both found themselves fighting for freedom despite wanting the easier and less complicated things in life.

All William Wallace wanted was a family of his own and land to farm on.

It wasn't meant to be sadly.

Men of great destinies chosen for greater causes and purposes often find themselves thrust into missions they didn't bargain for.

Their path is a sacrificial one often for the greater good.

Like Joseph of the old testament who was raised up for the economic and and material preservation of God's people and the nations of the known world at that time, he faced betrayal and setbacks in life which were actually setups for him to fulfill his destiny.

Joseph's wisdom was for the benefit of many, a destiny to preserve and free God's nation from drought and famine.

Joseph sought to be free from imprisonment.

William Wallace sought to be free from oppression.

Maximus Decimus wanted to be free to return to his family.

All three men sought and fought for freedom in different ways.

Something is wrong with the individual who doesn't desire to be free in a positive sense.

The desire to be free is an innate human thing, we instinctively know we are not created to be bound and tied down.

Freedom is part of your right and inheritance.

And Jesus Christ paid the highest price for your freedom.

Your Wings, Your Freedom

 

Revelation 12:14

Wings help us get to where we want to get to.

Wings give us ability.

Wings give us flight, speed, and movement.

Wings bring progress.

Wings also bring protection.

The parent eagle uses her wings to protect and also train her eaglets.

The mother hen uses her wings to protect her chicks.

That is how God protects us under His wings.

Psalm 91:4

God desires to give 'wings' to His children- spiritual wings that adds value to our lives and make us more effective.

These wings are a kingdom benefit, exclusively for those in His kingdom.

They are spiritual wings that enable us to get to where God has prepared for us.

Wings represent freedom.

Wings help animals like birds escape predators

Spiritual wings make a way of escape for us , a way of escape from spiritual predators and their human agents.

Wings help us enjoy freedom, just like free birds in the air.

In Revelation 12 we read the story of a glorious woman who is a sign.

Another sign appears- a red dragon (the enemy) who pursues and tries to take out the woman.

The glorious woman symbolizes God's chosen people or the church.

The second sign is a red dragon who is Satan the enemy.

The child the woman was to deliver represents that which we are to 'birth' in this world.

The child of the glorious woman is symbolic of our testimonies, our miracles, our blessings, our destiny, assignments, ministries, callings and all we are meant to birth in this world as given to us by God.

Just like the glorious woman of Revelation 12, the enemy has been harassing, hounding, and persecuting the people of God, the chosen of God.

He, tries to steal, kill and destroy that which God has given to us.

As the child of the glorious woman was preserved by being caught up to heaven (God's presence) to protect him from the enemy, God can preserve all He has given to us.

Revelation 12:5

Receiving wings from God starts with waiting on God.

Isaiah 40:31

The glorious woman escaped the chase and attack of the enemy with the help of the two wings God gave her.

Revelation 12:14

She escaped the enemy's flood because God spoke to the earth to help her.

Revelation 12:16

God can help you, He is our present help in time of need.

Psalm 46:1

May God give you wings to escape the enemy always.

May God give you wings to soar off into your freedom and inheritance.

Everything God does He does in light.

1 John 1:5

May God give you wings for freedom, wings of light!

The Shades Of Freedom

 

Freedom has different sides to it.

There is internal freedom and external freedom, there's spiritual freedom, financial freedom, mental freedom, and career freedom.

To be free from the things and issues that have affected your mental dignity is to be free from mental slavery, whether that's wrong philosophies, negative past experiences, indoctrinations, wrong beliefs, or negative mental programing.

The joy of freedom is in having a choice.

Your choice matters and should not be taken away from you, your choice should not be undermined.

Beware of people who undermine your choice or don't respect it.

Even God respects your choice, your decision.

God gives you the right to choose, this is freedom.

He would have you make choices although He advises you to choose what is right which is life.

The desire to be free is in individuals and in a people, even nations.

When a nation that was once colonized celebrates her independence every year it is actually a celebration of freedom.

The freedom to be self governed, the freedom to practice her own form of government, the freedom for that nation to choose and make her own future.

God would have you free.

There is liberty in God, even in Jesus Christ!

In God's love for us, He has made His anointing available to us through Christ Jesus.

The anointing sets us free. It is a spiritual power for our liberation.

It breaks yokes and lifts burdens off us that we may be free to be who God created us to be.

Vision & Freedom

 

On the journey to freedom, as you get closer to the light of freedom shining at the distance, things might get tougher.

The departure of the children of Israel from Egypt in the Biblical account from the book of Exodus is a real story of freedom.

Pharaoh did not want the Israelites free because they were useful to him as slaves.

The enemy and your enemies don't want you free because they feel its to their benefit if you remain as you are, but they are mistaken; you will not be bound because God doesn't just want you free but He paid the price for your freedom.

The journey to freedom may be tough but I'd like to encourage you not to give up.

It is very likely you have almost reached the light at the end of the dark tunnel, that is why it's getting tougher to continue the journey.

You must continue to seek freedom, you can't give up now.

You've come too far from where you started from.

There's no going back, there's no looking back, there's no giving up now.

Pharaoh couldn't stop the children of Israel from being free for God wanted them free.

The enemy and your enemies cannot stop you from being free for God wants you free.

Pharaoh is symbolic of Satan in the book of Exodus account.

Moses is symbolic of Jesus Christ in that true life story.

Moses shows up in Egypt which is Pharaoh's territory to ensure the children of Israel get their freedom.

Jesus Christ showed up from heaven in this earthly plane to ensure we are free from the enemy's grip.

As Moses showed up for the Israelites freedom, Pharaoh increased their workload and punished them the more.

When deliverance is near challenges increase.

The attacks against you may have increased, it's a distraction.

Strange warfare may have risen up from strange quarters against you, it's a tactic to make you give up.

Maintain your focus.

Look ahead.

The future is bright.

Can't you see it?

See your freedom, see your future.

That's where you should be, that's where you will get to.

Keep walking, keep running, keep taking steps.

Keep moving, keep going.

You will get there.

With each day, hour, minute, and second that goes by you are getting closer to your future, your freedom.

May God direct, order, lead, and guide your steps.

You can and must make it!

Wings Of Light

 

A new ability is coming to the sons and daughters of God at this time, for our God is a God of the new.

A new grace our heavenly Father is releasing to His body, for in this grace dispensation God is empowering anew.

The grace to take new territories and operate in new heights, for this glorifies God our Father.

God wants to grant us wings, even wings of light by His grace.

Our heavenly Father will have us soar to new heights as He gives us wings to take flight!

They that wait upon the Lord through Jesus Christ shall renew their strength

This is the time to wait upon God that we may rise.

This is the time to wait upon the Lord that we may walk and not faint.

This is the time to wait upon the Lord that we may run.

This is the time to wait upon the Lord that we may take flight.

This is the time to wait upon the Lord that we may be graced to rise to higher heights and experience greater glories.

Wait upon the Lord for counsel, wait upon the Lord.

Wait upon the Lord for wisdom, wait upon the Lord for understanding, wait upon the Lord for knowledge, wait upon the Lord for might!

Wait upon the Lord!

In waiting upon the Lord the fear of God grows, in waiting upon the Lord the Spirit of the Lord comes!

This is grace!

For grace is the God factor in a human life!

As God graces us in this season, may we mount on the wings of the Spirit!

May God grace us with wings, wings to escape the floods of the enemy against our lives.

Wings to escape the snares and fangs of spiritual predators against us.

Wings to defy evil spiritual laws that want to nail us to the ground of failure, emptiness and disappointment.

May God grant us wings.

Wings of light!

Light & Progress

To make progress is to succeed steadily.
In God's Kingdom light is associated with progress.

We are informed in scripture that the path of the righteous is as a shinning light that shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day.

Light represents everything that's good, positive and divine according to scriptures.
When you have enough light in you, you will make steady progress in this dark world.
When there is light, there will be progress.

Light is a carrier of everything we need and Jesus is Light. 

As light is useful physically, it is ALSO useful spiritually. Light is significant and Jesus identified with it. Jesus even called himself THE LIGHT.

It is the will of God that His children make progress in this world the right way.
It's God's will that we make progress that glorifies Him.

Every right thinking person wants to make progress and the desire to progress and succeed was put in us by God.

What is light ? 

It is the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible.
Light is illumination, brightness, lustre, a glow, a dazzle. 

For example lamps and light bulbs shine light that is electrically powered.

 The sun shines forth light that is used for solar energy. 

Every form of light is generated from a source.

We need light to see, seeing helps us make progress and succeed.

May Jesus Christ be the source of our light!

Everything positive, everything divine, everything good, everything Holy, everything pure, and everything God is represented by light. 

You need 'wings' to get from where you are to where you should be.

Wings give you the ability to fly, move, and rise higher.

Wings represent progress and everything God does He does in light.

Wings get us from where we are to where we should be.

Wings represent transcendence, ascension and higher heights.

We become as people who have 'wings' after God has renewed our strength- for they that God renews their strength shall become as eagles, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

God gives spiritual wings to His people to get to the place of provision and protection He has prepared for them.

These spiritual wings are wings of light.

May God give us wings of light!
