Kingdom man is the first creation from THE LIGHT COMICS.
The Light Comics is a ministry and evangelistic arm of THE LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST ASSEMBLY
Here at The Light Comics we aim to create godly, interesting super heroes with the fear of God.

Kingdom man is a tall African brother who stands at 6 feet tall. He is a born again godly man that God has endowed with the spiritual gift of discernment and the spirit of might. Like the Biblical Samson of old he has a strength that is more than ordinary.
A chosen one of God, he uses his powers to advance the Kingdom of God which he is loyal to, a Kingdom that appointed him one of the custodians of the gospel. He is in his mid thirties.
Kingdom man is a lover of the brethren and a gifted pianist and keyboardist.
A smart and clever man, he eats healthy, likes watching movies, he works out regularly at the gymnasium and he can be found at The Light Of Jesus Christ Assembly his local church  twice a week his when he is not with his cape and costume contributing his quota to saving the community and the world, advancing the cause of his saviour Jesus Christ, playing with his pet dogs at home or receiving the mentorship of his Pastor Olutosin and his Pastor's wife Suzzannah.

Here in our church, we love Kingdom man. Sorry ladies, he is taken!

THE FORCE IS WITH YOU!

The movie Star Wars is one of those all time greats among films.
It's a movie so well accepted, as well as it's sequels, they did so well. 

The original Star Wars movies were way ahead of their time when they were released and they have stood the test of time, for me they are still a delight to watch. 

The visual effects and sound effects for the time it was released is groundbreaking.
The animated tv series which began to show in more recent years have also been so successful. Star Wars has not only stood the test of time but proves to be truly entertaining. It's a good and creative mix of action, fantasy, technology and the power of the human imagination.
George Lucas, the creative mind and founder of the Star Wars films must be one fulfilled man right now. His success story is evidence to us that hard work, and the use of our imagination creatively to create stories or products can be fulfilling.
The ability to put concepts and ideas together is given by God. Good ideas come from God. The Bible says "I wisdom, dwell with prudence and I give knowledge of witty inventions"
In my estimation, the Star Wars films have a spiritual side to it.
I don't know if George Lucas shares my Christian faith or not but what I do know is that he has Jewish roots.
For those with very spiritual minds such as I have, you will be a able to draw spiritual parallels from things around you particularly the films you watch.

"The force is with you" is one of the words Luke Skywalker the protagonist and Jedi hero of the Star Wars films hears from his mentor say to him. His mentor is the wise and noble Obi Wan Kanobi a Jedi who died and went on to become part of the 'force'. Obi Wan Kanobi after his departure would assure Luke now and again that the force is with him. This in itself has a spiritual side.
In Star Wars, Jedi's are a select and special breed of people.
They are men who have 'the force' with them. 'The force be with you' becomes something of a farewell or parting words Jedi's say to one another. It is because of the force, they have abilities beyond that of an ordinary human being.

In the Bible when a saint dies we are informed that the child of God goes to paradise which we commonly call heaven. 

That saint becomes part of the cloud of witnesses who joins all the prophets and heroes of faith we read about in the Bible, they become part of the cloud of witnesses encouraging and cheering on the saints of God down here on earth. In Star Wars, Jedi's die and become part of the 'force' the good side or light, encouraging other Jedi's on, especially Luke Skywalker who is the chosen Jedi assigned to bring balance to 'the order'.
I wouldn't be surprised if the inspiration to Luke Skywalker comes from Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the chosen one prophesied about thousands of years by the prophets. 

He is God's chosen one that brings order to our spiritual lives and gives us the victory. Jesus brought the balance, he brought hope. The same way Luke Skywalker brings hope and balance to the Jedi side.
In Star Wars Jedi's are a select group of people who don't live anyhow, they are well trained, they are individually and uniquely gifted and have some rules they live by. When a Jedi consistently and continuously breaks rules, it's easy for the dark side to creep in and take over that Jedi's life. 

A few Jedi's were won over by the dark side this way, like Luke Skywalker's father Anakin Skywalker who later served the dark Lord.
In the spirit realm we also have a dark lord the devil, the enemy of our souls. 

He is the tempter and accuser of the brethren, like the dark lord in Star Wars he is wily, clever, manipulative and seeks to bring down the saints of God. I liken Jedi's to the saints of God (true Christians or believers). Just like Jedi's are a disciplined and special breed of people, God's children "are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood a holy nation, and a peculiar people".
As we have the dark side in the Star Wars films seeking to take control of the galaxy, so we have the kingdom of darkness seeking to take control of God's creation and the mind of man.
Christians have a Savior, a hero, our Lord Jesus Christ. Jedi's have a hero, a chosen one, Luke Skywalker.
Jedi's have the force that is with them, that guides them, helps them and gives them powers. Christians also have the Holy Spirit who empowers, strengthens, and gives spiritual gifts to the sons/daughters of God. Interestingly, the Holy Spirit can move and operate like a force, though He is more than a force, He is a personality.
Jedi's live a disciplined life. Christians have been called to live a disciplined and godly life, shunning the sins and old ways that held us bound. Like the Apostle Paul we must "discipline ourselves like an athlete lest after we have preached to others we should be cast aways"
It is insightful to share that angels are likened to stars and Satan was a former angel who was cast out of God's presence by angel Michael and his team of warrior angels. 

So truly there was a Star Wars. It really happened and it still happens. In Daniel 10 we see that angel Gabriel was held captive by a type of fallen angel called the prince of Persia until God sent angel Michael to fight with the Prince of Persia to secure angel Gabriel's release. This is star wars.
The Jedi's are the hope of the galaxy just the same way Christians are the hope of God's creation and bring the needed balance so that Satan doesn't wreck havoc on God's creation. We have Christ in us the hope of glory. Like Jedi's we bring hope because of Christ in us.
Other creatures were always happy in the film when Jedi's show up to help them fight the dark side. 

In the same manner "the whole creation is groaning waiting earnestly for the manifestation of the sons of God". We rejoice when we come across sons and daughters of God who have attained some maturity and are truly walking in their spiritual gifts and powers in Christ Jesus to help us.
Jedi's fight the dark side. Christians also fight the Kingdom of darkness. "for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of this world, spiritual forces in the heavenly realms"
Young Jedi's in Star Wars the film have centers where they are trained from childhood in the special ways of the force. Christians in scripture are also encouraged to "train their children in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it". The Christian home is a center where godly lifestyles should be upheld and cultivated for our children's training.
Master Jedi's train junior ones who are aspiring to be Jedi's the way. 

The church is one of the places where Christians are trained in the things of the Spirit, where spiritual gifts are harnessed and developed, and Spirit knowledge is shared and taught according to scriptures.
Jedi's are trained, Christians are trained.
Jedi's have mentors and teachers who trained them. Christians also have Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers and evangelists who are gifts to the church and help us grow in spiritual maturity and edify us.
The spiritual parallels go on.

THE SPIRITUAL WARRIOR

Warriors thrill those of us who are into sword crossing films.
Films like 300, Gladiator, Conan, Clash of The Titans, The Barbarians, Scorpion king and a whole host of others are moves that gained popularity at different times because of the action, the brawn, the muscles and the swords.
The protagonists of these films were all warriors. 

Yes warriors! 

It's these warrior movies people take a liking to because of the innate nature of human beings to be entertained and the fact the humans have always felt a need for a hero. The warriors and hero's in these movies are fictional characters probably created to feed the inner craving of people for leaders who are brave, skilled, tough, inspiring and extraordinary.
When I read the Word of God I realize that we have heroes in todays world. We have heroes who are equally inspiring and brave, spiritual heroes who are taking on the dragon (the devil) and his cohorts.
There is a path every spiritual warrior is on.

There is a way every spiritual warrior operates.

Every true son/daughter of God is a spiritual warrior. In other words, every Christian is a warrior.

The Bible makes it clear that we have a fight of faith on our hands. 

1 Timothy 6:12

The way of every true spiritual warrior is the way of FAITH.

 1 John 5:4

We call the use and application of our faith on this earth a 'fight', the reason it's a fight is because there are many things that will contest with and that will try to defy your faith on this earth. 

That's why you have to contend for true faith. 

Jude 1:3

To contend means to struggle to surmount, to assert something as a position in an argument.

So in life the true spiritual warrior is the one who contests and rejects things that will try to overcome his faith.

The path of spiritual warriors is the path of wisdom and prayer. 

First of all wisdom because it is the most important thing. 

Proverbs 4:7

Then prayer, because prayer is how we commune with God and one of the ways we fight and receive strength spiritually.

For the spiritual warrior there is a correlation between prayer and wisdom. 

Prayer must be guided by wisdom, and wisdom for the Christian is the Word of God.

 Psalm 119:98, 2 Timothy 3:15

We pray in line with scripture believing we do not pray amiss when praying from God's Word.

 James 4:3

What are the things contending with our faith?

1) Principalities, fallen angels, demons. Ephesians 6:12

2) Satan. Revelation 12:10

3) False prophets. Matthew 7:15-18

4) Wrong Doctrine. Matthew 16: 6-12

5) Storms of life. Mark 4:35-41

6) The world system. 1 John 4:4-6

DO UNICORNS EXIST?

The unicorn has always been a fascinating creature to me.
I guess I am not the only one who is intrigued by the unicorn.
I think the world is. 

The world of children's entertainment, fantasy and adventure games and books, fiction stories and tales have all sorts of stories about unicorns.
In most fiction stories they fly. 

Some have wings and some don't. 

They are also known for their speed.

In the movie 'Clash Of The Titans', Pegasus is the pet horse and major form of transportation of the protagonist Perseus. 

Pegasus is a beautiful, mystical looking white horse that reminds the viewer of a unicorn.
There is a lot in the world of fiction that is true.

As a student of the Bible I know angel-like white horses are real. 

Pegasus makes it easy for me to visualize these horses. 

These flying white horses are the answer for horses of what angel horses look like. 

We know from the Bible that every time angels (spirits) are described they appear as men. 

If there are spirit horses that these angels ride on in heaven and which the Lord Jesus Christ the King of angels rides on leading His heavenly host, then we can call these flying white horses angel horses.

One thing is certain, the horses talked about in the book of Revelation from the Bible are spirits.

 They are not ordinary horses of the types we see on earth.
These flying white horses of heaven the Bible talks about remind me of Pegasus from Clash Of The Titans. 

We don't know if these heavenly horse have wings like Pegasus does but we know from the Bible that they fly. 

Spirits can fly.
Unicorns also fly.

Some angels have wings, some don't.

Some make their wings visible some hide their wings.

It is easy to conclude angel horses fall into two categories- the ones that have wings and the ones that don't.
Pegasus reminds me of unicorns as depicted in the image of this article and I imagine a unicorn as its widely believed unicorns look like.

 It's believed unicorns have spiral and straight horns sticking out of their foreheads.
Since Pegasus didn't have a horn Pegasus can't pass as a unicorn.
The spirit flying white horses of the book of revelations most likely looked like Pegasus but nothing is written about whether they had wings or not. If they do have wings, Pegasus like creatures are real.

 I believe they are. And it is very likely those horses, just like angels have some which are wingless and some which have wings among them.

The world, creation, is full of mysteries. 

The mysteries are both in the natural and spirit realm.

 I am in awe of God and His works.
If these horses the book of Revelation writes about have horns, then unicorns exist.
Perhaps that is where the idea of unicorns come from, who knows?
However if unicorns didn't exist then why does the Bible mention the word unicorn in describing a creature?

 Unicorns are mentioned 9 times in 5 different parts of the King James Bible.
Some debate it's not the 'imaginary' unicorn as we know it today that the Bible is referring to.
The Bible talks about dragons to, and I have been able to prove dragons exist, in the books of Revelation Satan is depicted as a dragon.
If these creatures don't exist why would the Bible use these specific words?

Spiritual realities can show what what exists physically, and physical realities are often patterned after what exists in the heavens even if we haven't seen them before.
Some of those flying horses which definitely exist may have horns, just the same way some of them may have wings.
I believe unicorns exist.
Look up to the skies, be on the watch. Who knows, you just might see one flying in the skies one day.

DO DRAGONS EXIST?

Dragons are not creatures new to many of us. 

On television- through children's adventure animation and cartoons we see them, they are are in our films and movies and in fantasy books and comics. 

There are even game consoles that have them and board games like 'dungeons and dragons'.
But do dragons really exist or did they once exist?

Are they ancient medieval creatures that were once in existence and have been wiped away like dinosaurs?

We know dinosaurs existed because there are fossils and archaeological evidence to prove they were once in existence.

 If not for archaeological evidence and museums that have put together the complete bone structure of dinosaurs many people may not believe in their existence.
I believe dinosaurs once lived freely on this earth and I also believe dragons might still exist as under water sea creatures that don't make their way to the earth surface anymore because God restricts them.

The truth of the matter is that there are mysteries in this world, mysteries on this earth that man is just discovering or has not discovered yet.
Nephilim's exist. 

A Nephilim is a fallen one. 

The Bible records that angels took wives for themselves in the book of Genesis Chapter 6 during the times of Noah and these women gave birth to creatures that were half divine and half human, hybrids that have come to be known as Nephilims or Rephahims which means fallen ones. 

And they are the fallen ones indeed because God wiped that generation of giants away.
The Bible tells us those Rephahims were the great men of old, I believe many stories that fascinate us today were written from inspiration drawn from the existence of these beings, stories of men like Hercules, Thor, Achilles, Apollo (the Greek god) and many Greek hero's and gods were inspired by the real life exploits and stories of Rephahims.

Archaeological evidence also validate the fact that these beings once walked the face of the earth. 

There are skeletal bones dug out from the ground that prove this.
There are men who have researched deeper into this subject than I have. Check out and research the works of men like L.A Marzulli and Steve Quille.
We may not have much archaeological evidence to prove that dragons exist but we know they are reptilian in nature and dinosaur like. 

If we can believe dinosaurs existed then we should not find it hard to believe dragons may have existed or still exist.

Perhaps God keeps them bound in the depths of the sea so that they cannot harm man or wipe out the human race, or perhaps they are now extinct like dinosaurs?

The Bible likens the devil to s dragon. In fact he is called a dragon in Revelation 12.
Why will the Bible talk about or liken the devil to a creature that doesn't exist? 

If he is being described as a dragon in the book of revelation it's because the dragon is a creature that exists or has existed. 

In the book of Job, a creature is described called a 'Leviathan'
The Bible is an interesting and remarkable book. 

One of the principles we discover from the Bible is that many things we see in the natural reflect what exist in the spirit realm. 

The devil is a spirit being but the Bible uses natural things and creatures to explain spiritual realities.

In Job chapter 41 the Bible talks about Leviathan, a creature whose description falls perfectly in line with what we know fire breathing dragons to look like!
The Bible is a true and truthful book!

It's accounts can be relied on.

 It is describes a creature that existed in the time of Job.

 This description is what we call a dragon today!
The breath, the strength, the fire from the mouth of the leviathan, a creature that lives in the water, it's fearlessness, reptilian scale like skin, a creature there is nothing like!

 These and many more descriptions listed in Job chapter 41, they are all descriptions of a dragon.
The dragon and the snake are the two major animals the devil is described as in the book of Revelation.

 In Genesis, he is also called a snake/serpent. 

If he is likened to a snake which is a present day living creature, then dragons are not mere fantasy or fables. These are living creatures that may be extinct or yet to be discovered in the depths of the sea today!

INTELLIGENT PRAYER (Transcript)

Hebrews 4:12

Prayer can be and should be intelligent.
God's Word has an intelligence.
God our Father, is the all wise God.
When we pray to the all wise God we should pray intelligently.
It's not every prayer that is acceptable to God.
There are prayers that are wrongly prayed. The Bible says we can pray amiss.
Prayer and God's Word should go together.
God's Word gives our prayers a spiritual intelligence!
God's Word has an intelligence!
God's Word is alive and creative!
By intelligent prayer, I am referring to prayer that is living, prayer that is alive, prayer that is creative!

Intelligent prayers are Kingdom prayers.
Intelligent prayer is progressive prayer.
Intelligent prayers are Kingdom minded prayer.
Kingdom minded prayers are prayers that get God's attention.
The fastest way to get anyone's attention is to discuss a topic or topics they are interested in with them. The moment you discuss issues of interest with a person, you've got his attention. It can be the same with God.
Prayer in it's most basic definition is communication with God.
Prayer is presenting a speech before God.
If your speech has God's priority in it, it will get God's attention! 1 Kings 3:10
God's priority is His Kingdom, His power and His glory! Matthew 6:13
That's why Master Jesus mentioned the Kingdom, the power and the glory of God in His prayer, popularly called 'The Lord's Prayer'

Our prayers can be living, progressive, creative and intelligent like the prayers of Jesus were when He was  on earth.
It's the Word of God that makes our prayers like that.
When the Word of God is rightly applied in the place of prayer through God's Spirit, it becomes intelligent, creative, living, kingdom prayer.
In other words our prayer takes on the nature of God's Word. When our prayer takes on the nature of God's Word, we will not pray amiss, we will get God's attention because God respects and responds to His Word. Psalm 89:34
When we pray, our prayers rise up to God as incense. What kind of incense or prayer are you raising up to God. Is it intelligent?



Intelligent Prayer is a short message that was shared by Pastor Olutosin Ogunkolade at THE LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST ASSEMBLY on the 4th of March 2015 Wednesday Prayer meeting.

THINK BIG!

I received an inspiration this morning!
This inspiration led to the writing of this article.

 It must be God communicating with me in the usual style He does. 

Though I was tired from working overnight and just wanted to rest, I'm home alone because my beautiful wife and lovely son are out at the moment,

 I didn't feel comfortable because I knew I have an assignment to put this inspiration down as a typed out article so that I don't lose it.

I feel strengthened already as I type this out.
I understand the urgency of  'the message' and the need for many of God's own to understand what I am writing.
The message/inspiration is short and simple- THINK BIG!

Too many people think too small. 

We think too small because we do not know who we are, we do not know our identity.
Don't take yourself for granted. 

You are a walking, living miracle created in God's image and likeness! 

You are talented, gifted, and knowledgeable in more ways than one.
The important question is, what are you doing with all the talent(s), gifts, abilities and knowledge in your possession?

Your ability to 'connect the dots', your ability to innovate, which is combining your gifts, talents, opportunities, knowledge, experience, education or whatever you've got to make something new and needed or improve on something that already exists  is a key to your success. 

Innovation is creativity and creativity is making something with what you have to bring about what is needed. 

Creativity is success
Many people don't innovate because they do not think big enough. They do not think big enough because they do not know who they are, which is evidence of a low self esteem.

The challenge to you today is to think big!
If you are going to make your mark in the world you have to think big.
To make the most of life you have to think big.
To take territories for God you have to think big.
To be all God has created you to be, you have to think big.
I am not the biggest fan of Donald Trump but I like something he once said, 

I even used it as a quote in one of my books GREAT WORDS FOR GREAT LIVING.

 He said "you have to think anyway, so why not think big"

Thinking is something we will always have to do, so we might as well think big!

 Let's not make time for small thinking, though starting small is a requirement at times to growing big.

 Most things start small, from companies, to ministries, new born human beings to animals, we all started small, as seeds, unfertilized sperm, babies, kittens, puppies, caterpillars, etc
We grew to the size are are today.

Everything is designed to grow to some degree. 

There is an invisible law on everything shouting- growth!
You can grow in resourcefulness, wisdom, grace, ability, generosity, physical size and influence, accomplishments, spiritually, financially and even in your skills.

You can grow in the art of thinking.
Let your small thinking evolve into big thinking today.
Many of us work hard, but most times its for other people (employers).
We spend a good part of our lives getting an education, only to devote and spend most of our adult life to someone else's dream, organization or to enrich the pocket of our employers. 

This is not bad in itself but is this God's best for us? 

Could it be that God has something better for you, could it be that there is a better way to live and to be?
There is a better way to do everything. 

Find it!
The definition of a successful career to many is to get a good certificate(s) or degree(s) and get a good job, hopefully with a very established organization like Exxon Mobil, Shell, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Ebay, Samsung, architectural firms, established hospitals etc
This is not bad in itself.

Be reminded someone started Facebook, someone started Shell, Exxon Mobil, Apple, Microsoft, Ebay, Samsung and every established organization on the face of the earth. 

They are human beings like you and I.
Many people want to work in Shell, Mobil, and many of the oil companies of the world today. 

Did you know someone started that company?

 Have you considered starting yours?
Chevron, Shell, Exxon Mobil are parts of John D. Rockfellar's Standard Oil which was one big gigantic oil organization before the government of his day broke standard oil into several fragments. John D. Rockfellar became even richer after standard oil was fractionized to reduce his financial wealth!

 Some of them the world's established entrepreneurs are not as educated as you are.

 Some of them didn't have better opportunities than you have, but a few things has made the difference between them and the everyday person, and one of those few things is the ability to think big.

Let your imagination begin to soar unto big and great things like an eagle.
From Donald Trump, to Bill Gates, to Mark Zuckerberg, to Aliko Dangote, to Mike Adenuga, to Warren Buffet, to M.K.O Abiola, to Barack Obama, the quality of thinking big is the quality they all have in common.
Why don't you work on that idea, that product, that company, that book you have talked about for so long?

How big are you thinking?
Make the world your oyster, the earth can be yours for the taking.

 You are the son/daughter of a King!
"I will give you the earth as an inheritance, the ends of the world as a possession"

 Psalm 2 verse 8
Begin to think big.
