FATHERS AND SONS.

It's my observation that most girls evolve into what their mothers are like, and most boys grow into what their fathers are. Fathers feel a need to protect their daughters because they are girls, and sons are protective of their mothers as they grow up because they are women.
It's common knowledge it takes a great father to raise a great son. Behind most successful people there is a responsible parent or guardian behind the scene.
There are blessings in fathers, loaded up for their sons. I believe very much in parental blessings. Even the good Book holds this view. But a fathers blessing is not automatic! It takes work to bring a blessing out of  people/ parents. But when a father truly blesses his son, it goes a long way in enhancing his destiny.
Individuals have a big role to play in bringing a blessing out of their parents.
The son who covers his fathers shame gets the blessing!

Paper Qualifications vs Innate gifts and talents.

We live in a world where there is a lot of emphasis on getting an education and making something of our lives. That's good and I think it's important. I'm of the belief that individuals should do their best possible to be the best they can be and maximize the opportunities that come their way in life. If you have the  opportunity to get as much education as you can get, by all means do so.
I study trends, I research on life, and I scrutinize and question issues, I try to understand what works, I ask questions and I appreciate truth. I do my best possible to separate fact from fiction.
I've always asked myself, does a formal education mean success, does having 'paper' qualifications equal financial stability or financial freedom? Are the courses we take in colleges and Universities teaching us the full truth about the real world and how to stand as men and women of  worth or are we all  just being  programmed to  graduate and  serve other people by getting a job? How many University graduates being turned out from Universities the world over go on to achieve financial independence or become successful entrepreneurs?
Is there something wrong with the world we live in or have we all been negatively programmed from birth? Have we been lied to? What is truth? How do we know what's best and what works?
I'll suggest learning from those who have gone ahead of us will give us some answers.
Isn't it an irony of life that some of the most financially successful men in life are those who don't have degrees, or those who have hardly been within the four walls of a lecture hall?

I liken it to God "using the foolish things of this world to confound the wise"
Academic qualifications aren't bad, they have their benefits, but it's not the end in itself. It might help you to a good start in life but it's not an assurance of financial stability, a successful career in the long run or all round success.
My understanding is that our potentials, talents and gifts, if properly maximized will take us further than academic qualifications can.
Walt Disney literally built his empire by using the gift of his imagination and innate creativity, Albert Einstein credited his ability to dream and use his imagination as the reason for his success above his knowledge, It's Thomas Jefferson who claims a good knowledge of the Bible is better than a college degree.

Could it be that we are being fed the wrong values and information from birth, do many of us take enough time to scrutinize and question the paths we are pushed unto in life or do we just do things like everyone else does?
Have you taken the time to find out what your gifts and abilities are, and do you use them? Have you  taken the time to develop your confidence in them or  are you  too busy with everyday life and your 'paper' qualifications that you don't  focus on what matters most  in life anymore?
Do you carry out self appraisals on yourself?
You need to. What are your interests? They are a pointer to what you may excel the best at. And do you go for  what you want or do you live your life to please people?
You are a gifted person, you need to go on a journey of self discovery today.

Fabian warfare tactics.

Studying the history, life and warfare tactics of  military tacticians and conquerors like Hannibal, Alexander the great, King Cyrus, King David, and Gideon the judge  is of interest to me. Not  to mention the fascinating military exploits of the likes of Julius Caesar, Mark Antony, Achilles, Hercules  and  of course  the  fictional  Conan.

Warfare is part of life.
Right within  our  human  bodies, warfare  takes  place.
We  have  internally  built 'warriors' within  us  namely  the  white blood  corpuscles  which  are  designed  to fight  intruders,  namely  viruses  and  bacteria  which  cause  disease  and  sickness within  us.

Life  itself  is  warfare.
The  good  Book  likens  life  to  a  battlefield, and  shows  us  that  provision  has been  made  for  our  victory  in  life, and  of course  we  are  the  warriors,  the  heroes,  the  ones  who  are  more  than  conquerors.
A  necessary  requirement  for  success  in  a  war  is  leadership.
An interesting quote on leadership says "an army of sheep  with  a lion as  its leader will do  better  than  an  army  of  lions  with  a  sheep  as  its leader."

Who  is  your  leader  in  the  battle  of  life?
For  me, it's  the "Lord  strong  and  mighty  in  battle."
Your  leader  will make  or  mar  you.
The  leader  you  follow  will  determine  whether  you  win  this  battle  or  not.

Nicollo Machiavelli  the  philosopher  understood  the  importance  of  leadership  and  had  insights  into  how  a  leader  should  operate.
He  believed  leaders  should (1) master the  art  of  intrigue  (2) develop  a  killer  instinct (strike at  the  right  time).

The Carthage  army  was  very  powerful  during  the  time  of  their  conquer  of  Italy, the  role  of  the  leadership  of  Hannibal  cannot  be  over emphasized.
Hannibal  was  a  brilliant  military  tactician  and  skilled  warrior, he  had  no match  during  his  time  and  he  was  feared  by  friends  and  foe  alike.
The  Roman  empire  had  suffered  defeat  at  his  hands  several  times  over,  and  it  was  their  frustration  at  Hannibal's  military  superiority  that  led  Rome  to  install Quintus Fabius Maximus Verrucosus, who evolved  a  warfare  tactic  that  was  later  to  be  known  as  Fabian tactics.

I believe  the  Fabian  tactic  is  very  similar  to  the  tactic  the  enemy  of  our  souls engages  in  to confront  us  and  rob  us.
It's  not  a  direct  attack  on  the  enemy fighting  type of strategy.
It  involves  an  indirect  means  of  warfare  that  lures  the  opponent  to  a  terrain  where  the  opponent  is  not  accustomed  to  fight,  its  a  deceptive  means  of  warfare  that  gives  the  opponent  the  impression  he  is  at  an  advantage  when  the truth is he  is  not  because  the  user  of  the  Fabian  tactic has  done  his  research  and  plans  to  capitalize  on  the opponents  weakness.
It's  a  warfare  technique  that  requires a lot of patience.
It's just  the  same  way  the  enemy  of  our  souls  is  very  persistent  and  patient,  and  we  have  to  be  as  persistent  and  patient, if  not  more,  before  we  can  overcome  him.

The Love Of Money.

Money is a necessity, an essential and integral part of life. To live a decent and comfortable life here on earth, a good amount of money is needed. To have a 'presence' on the earth and  to make an impact money  is  needful.
It's commonly said that "the love of money is the root of all evil", I believe this is true because the good Book says so.
The "Love of money" refers to your attitude, or your motive for wanting money.
Money in itself is not the problem, because money can be a blessing and can be used as a force or energy for good.
Money can be used as a creative tool, to manifest our dreams and make good things happen like advancing worthwhile causes that benefits humanity.

Just like most things, money is not bad but what you do with it is what makes the difference. We are meant to love people and use money, it shouldn't be the other way round, but unfortunately many people love money and use people.
This is responsible for a lot of the decay and unfortunate circumstances in the world.
People who "love" money, make one of the following mistakes or all of the following mistakes:
(a) an exaggerated importance placed on money or money matters.
(b) they think money can do or buy everything.
(c) bowing to unscriptural circumstances and going with the flow by doing what everybody does when it comes to money.
As important as money is in this world, we are not meant to "love" it but desire it., for there are many things money cannot 'do' for us.
  • Money can buy us a bed but she cannot buy us sleep.
  • Money can buy us books but she cannot buy us intelligence.
  • Money can buy us sex but she cannot get us true love.
  • Money can buy the good Book but she cannot buy us salvation.
  • Money can attract 'friends' to us but she cannot fix loneliness.
  • Money can get us a wedding but she cannot produce a marriage.
  • Money can get us the best tutors but she doesn't give us wisdom or a retentive memory.

We should not be ruled by money.
It doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor, you could be ruled by money.
The love of money has made many men join the occult, thereby shortening their life span, the love of money has made many drivers reckless, as they want to make many rounds as possible, the love of money has destroyed many potential friendships, relationships, beneficial business partnerships, marriages and even peoples health.
The love of money has turned many gentlemen into murderers and ladies  into diabolical schemers.
Money can be a blessing or a curse to you depending on your state of heart towards it.
It's time to get our priorities right when it comes to money, it affects us all.
It's time to love people, and use money.

Above the Realm (An excerpt from my forthcoming book)

The  sun,  the  moon ,and  the  twelve  courageous  stars look  down  from  the heavens  and  wonder what  it  is like to  be  man. They  wonder  what  it  is like to be  an upright  being  that  stands  on two  legs  and moves  around  with  an ability to make  his  own  choices.

Their  thoughts  lead  to celestial  conversations, their celestial conversations make them approach their  creator, their  creator  grants  them  their  wishes.

The   sun, the  moon and  twelve stars  come down to earth  in the  likeness  of  men  for  an experience  of a  life time.

KEEPERS OF THE KEYS! (A excerpt from my forth coming book)

They  are  far  from  human  though  they  are  born  human. They  have  a  more  than  ordinary  understanding  of  spiritual  matters  and  laws. They  have  been  given  the  power  to  suspend  natural  laws  and  operate  higher  spiritual  laws. They  are  the  new  super  heroes,  they are  the  mystiques,  the  shapeshifters.
You  dear  not  mock  a  mystique.
The  mystiques  are  called  keepers  of  the  keys,  their  position  is  for  only  a  select  few, the  keys  are  sacred  knowledge  hidden  from  man  from  the  foundation  of  the  world.
Their  strength  is  in  their  mental  energy, the  mystiques  are  to  be  feared. They  know  their  is  a  miracle  in  mental  energies, they  are  the  creators. They  were  born  human  but  translated  into  mystiques  with  the  progression  of  time. They  have  dined  at  the  table  of spirits, they  have  become  immortal  in  the  process. They  have  become  "spirited"  beings, higher  in  rank  than  angels. People  seek  to  know  them, even  even  as  people  are  known.

R.I.P SAM LOCO EFE

The  very  expressive SLE  is  passed  on, how  sad. In  my  opinion  Sam  Loco  Efe  was  one  of  Nollywood's finest. A  gifted  comedian,  a  good  actor  and  one  of  the  most  natural  acts  that  graced  the  Nigerian  tv  screens, I'm sure he will be missed by many. He  has  left a  legacy  of  humour  behind  and  the  many  Nigerian  movies  he  acted  in  will serve  as  a  worthy  way  of  keeping  his  memory alive. It's  hard  to  tell  which  of  his  movies  is  the  best  or  the  one  where  his  acting  was  best, but  one  thing  is  clear  he  is  one  of  my  favourite  actors  from Nigeria. My  heart  goes  out  to  all  his  fans  and  family  members. R.I.P,  Sam Loco Efe, a  natural  from  Nigeria.
